Two permanent secretaries have died about the same time in Zamfara State.
According to ‘Daily Trust’, the deceased were Yawale Dango of the Office of the Head of Service and Ahmed Sale of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
Thy were said to have died each after a brief illness.
While it was not stated whether it could be related to COVID-19 fatalities, the deceased , said have been buried according to Islamic rites, were described as hardworking and committed gentlemen who dedicated themselves to the services of Zamfara state by Governor Matawalle.
In the North, several dignitaries have passed on, among many said to have died.
What has, for instance, been dubbed mystery deaths, especially in Kano State, have, however, yet to be established as
a particular disease.
