Nigeria is only less 359 cases less 5,000 unpalatable landmark as another 242 people have tested positive for coronavirus.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control announced this on Monday night, hours after the Federal Government said it had taken delivery of the ‘wonder’ herbal drug from Madagascar.

According to the NCDC, 88 cases were recorded in Lagos, 64 in Kano, 49 in Katsina, 13 in Kaduna, 9 in Ogun, 6 in Gombe, 4 in Adamawa, 3 in FCT, 1 in Ondo, 1 in Oyo, 1 in Rivers, 1 in Zamfara, 1 in Borno and 1 in Bauchi State.

In total, Nigeria now has 4641 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 902 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 150 deaths have been recorded.

The agency, however, corrected an error it made in its announcement on the 10th of April , saying it was only one person that died, not two. as it earlier said.
