The Ondo State government says five persons, who tested positive for COVID-19 in the state, have been treated and discharged after testing negative.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Akure by the state Commissioner for Information, Mr Donald Ojogo.
Ojogo said that this had brought to 11 the total number of cases that had been treated and discharged in the state.
He said that following the discharge of the five persons, only four active cases remained at the state’s Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH).
According to the commissioner, the four cases are still being monitored in accordance with the globally-prescribed protocols.
