The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar, has been hospitalised at the Intensive Care Unit of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Kastina.
Kastina Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, had two days ago sealed the Daura palace to control the spread of coronavirus.

According to reports, Umar, was on Tuesday night rushed unconscious to the hospital after suffering from high blood pressure.
A source who spoke to Nigerian Tribune, said the Emir of Daura was rushed to the hospital after his health worsened on Tuesday. He said;
“Today, the health status of the Emir of Daura worsen as he could not talk and even walk. So, we had to rush him to the Federal Medical Centre in Katsina.”
