A day after star actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, told off people begging her for money online, Lagos opposition politician, Babatunde Gbadamosi, has lambasted those begging him for money via the digital space.
This is coming weeks after he got a pardon from the Lagos State Government after attending funk Akindele husband’s birthday party during coronavirus restrictions.
The couple was sentenced to comment service but the government dropped the case against Gbadamosi, singer Naira Marley and some other people.
Coming hard on the ‘online beggars’, Babatunde, in a series of tweets, said that he never give out his hard-earned money like that.
Besides, he said, the best thing for the beggars was to go and meet those they voted for, instead of those – like him – they refused to give their votes.
