Minister of Aviation, Sirika Had, has painted a grim picture of how coronavirus is dealing with the aviation industry in Nigeria and globally.
According to him, things are so bad that several airlines will not survive it.
He said the industry was losing N21bn monthly, adding that it was a peculiar one where business could not start immediately even after the pandemic would have been contained.
Speaking during the Presidential Task Force briefing, Sirika said the nature of the sector was that the fitness of planes packed for a long time had to be ascertained just as flight attendants had to be trained on distancing.
