Gunmen who abducted the Chairman of the Nasarawa State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Joseph Masin, are reportedly demanding a N20 million ransom.
The bishop was abducted on Wednesday night in his residence in Bukan-sidi, Lafia metropolis.

Pastor Tayo Samuel, the CAN Vice Chairman in the state, giving an update said the abductors had contacted the family demanding for N20 million ransom.
“Early this morning (yesterday), the kidnappers contacted one of his sons through his telephone and demanded 20 million. The negotiation is ongoing,” he said.
