A day after the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehinare, said he did not know whether or not health workers on coronavirus cases in Nigeria were getting any special allowances, his Federal Capital Territory counterpart has unveiled some.
According to Isa Ozo Mustapha, doctors involved get a hazard fee of 50,000 per day.
Nurses, lab scientists and pharmacists will get a hazard fee of 30,000 per day, and ward heads, cleaners and drivers who handle coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of 20,000 per day.
