Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, says the appointment of President Buhari has as the COVID-19 response leader of ECOWAS, is the greatest mistake the regional organisation ever committed.
According to the 59-year-old politician and lawyer, Buhari can barely manage himself.
Recall that ECOWAS leaders had a teleconference yesterday where they hailed Buhari for the manner in which Nigeria has so far handled the Coronavirus pandemic, hew was appointed as the “Champion coordinator” for COVID-19 response in the sub-region.

Fani Kayode added that ECOWAS will regret the appointment given to Buhari because it was an error.
He shared on Twitter:
“The greatest mistake that the ECOWAS leaders have made is to appoint @MBuhari as the leader of the fight against Covid 19. This is a cataclysmic error which they will deeply regret. He can barely manage himself & now you ask him to manage a sub-region of 400 million people?”
