Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has announced that he will reduce the curfew time in the state from next week.

Although President Muhammadu Buhari said lockdown should be total in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State, Abiodun said on Friday that it would be halted on three days.

He appeared to have got the confidence to do so following the discharge of six hitherto positive cases.

he said residents of the state would be allowed to move within the state on Monday April 20, Wednesday April 22 and Friday April 24 between the hours of 7am and 2pm on each of the days.

According to the governor, the relaxation of the lockdown order is to afford residents the opportunity to attend to essential activities including businesses, getting food items and other basic supplies.
