Unity Bank Plc on Monday donated N10 million to the Ondo State Government in support of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
Mr Lanre Awe, representing the Managing Director of Unity Bank, presented the cheque to Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State in Akure.
He explained that the donation was the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility to assist in providing relief to the people of the state during COVID-19 lockdown.
Receiving the donation, Gov. Akeredolu expressed appreciation for the gesture and urged individuals and corporate organisations to emulate the bank.
