Four more Coronavirus patents have been discharged in Lagos State after testing negative for the virus.

According to the Lagos State Ministry of Health who made the announcement via its Twitter handle, said the 4 discharged patients are males.

The total number of discharged Coronavirus patients in the state now 98.

“Four more #COVID19Lagos patients; all male have been discharged to reunite with the society.@jidesanwoolu.

“The patients; 3 from our isolation facility at Yaba & 1 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital @LUTHofficial have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos is now 98,” the tweet reads.

Seventy new coronavirus cases were recorded in Lagos on Sunday, with 16 others announced in other states.

It is the highest figure the country or any state would get in a day.

The 86 make the total number of confirmed infections in the country 627.
