Lagos state has announced the death of another COVID-19 patient, bringing the number of the souls lost to 4.
The state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, made the announcement via his Twitter handle today April 11, stating that the patient died in a private hospital.
“We are however saddened by the death of another patient in a Covid-19 related complications in a private hospital”, he tweeted on Saturday morning.
46 patients have been discharged so far and 3 transferred to Ogun State.
With 166 confirmed cases, Lagos remains the epicenter of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
