The Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, has said that a coronavirus test costs between 15 and 20 dollars.
It is not clear why he put the test in dollar but that would be between N6,000 and N8,000 with a dollar to about N400.
The DG made this known on Tuesday during the briefing pf the task force in charge of the pandemic in Nigeria.
Ihekweaz urged states to be faster in sending samples, while he also said efforts were being intensified to open more centres.
