Coronavirus case announced in Ibadan on Sunday dies on Monday

One of the three new coronaviruses that the Oyo State Government announced on Sunday has died.

According to Governor Seyi Makinde, who is the head of the team handling the pandemic in the state, made this known in a tweet on Monday.

Makinde noted:

“Sadly, one of the new COVID-19 cases announced yesterday (Sunday), passed away this morning. This brings the number of COVID-19 related deaths in the state to two. So, there are currently eight active cases in Oyo State. Testing is still ongoing at the drive-through/walk-through testing centre at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.”
