Many Nigerians are mourning a young soldier, Haruna Banana, said to have been killed during a Book Haram attack in Damboa, born State, on Wednesday.
Although the military was able to repel the attack, it was nt without casualties.
According to Dogo Shettima, an aide to Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, took to his Twitter handle to announce Haruna’s death during the attack, saluting him for defending his fatherland till the end.
