Elder statesman and former Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ibrahim Idris has commiserated with current Governor Yahaya Bello and his family over the demise of his mother Hajia Hawawu Bello. The matriarch of the family passed on Sunday evening in Abuja. Governor Bello in a statement announcing the passage said she was aged 101 years.
Idris in a condolence message by his media office noted that the life of every human being is in the hands of God and he can demand for it at any time. He said the Governor and his family should be consoled that mama lived up to old age.
“Death is an act of God and a debt everyone must pay. I pray that God will grant Mama Aljanah Fridaus and the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.”
The former governor urged the family to take the death in good fate.
Since news of mama Hawawu’s death broke, condolence messages have been pouring in for the governor and his family from across the country.
