The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said that Nigeria now has 97 cases of coronavirus cases after eight new cases were announced this night.
Four of them are said to be in Oyo State, two in the FCT and one in Kaduna.
The last is in Sun State.
Earlier Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, had announced he had tested positive.
His wife, Hadiza, has asked for prayers for her husband as he goes in =to isolation.
