Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammed, has tested positive for coronavirus.
The governor has been on self isolation since news broke out that a son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakan tested positive.
The reason is that he had had contact with the Atiku’s son, who also goes by the name, Mohammed.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mukhtar Gidado, confirmed his boss’ positive status in a media statement made available on Tuesday.
Earlier today, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kari, was also said to have tested positive.
