Police Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, has shed light on the operation in which the force killed 250 bandits in Kuduru forest, Kaduna State.
According to him, he police seized 48 packets of Tramadol from the bandits, alongside some heavy weapons.
Mba said on a ‘TVC’ programme, Journalists Hang Out, on Thursday, “The operation was intensive, bold and audacious; it was straight into the enemy’s territory.”
He added that it was never an easy operation as the police also lost an inspector while some other officers got wounded.
“The terror elements consider the camp impenetrable. But we had run intelligence around that time for a long time. Before we stormed, we were sure no innocent person was being held there.
It was never an easy operation,” he said.
