The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehaniare, has said that the Federal Government cannot yet disclose the identity of the man with the first case of coronavirus in Nigeria.
The man said to be from Italy came into Lagos on Wednesday and he has been confirmed to have the deadly disease.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Friday morning, Ehaniare said disclosing the patient’s identity was unethical.
He, however, assured Nigerians that the FG is making efforts to control the situation, adding that it was working closely with the Lagos State Government.
Ehaniare also expressed confidence in the capability of lagos State Government based on its experience handling ebola.
