Popular fuji musician, Alabi Ajibola Pasuma, has called on the Lagos State to reconsider its resolve to ban commercial motorbikes and auto rickshaws in the state.
The fuji musician made the call in a song tagged “Message from Government of fuji to Lagos State Government” posted on his Instagram page on recently.
In the 6.57minute clip, Pasum argued that many of the riders had no alternative means of livelihood and stopping them from riding abruptly would be detrimental.
He suggested better regulations including, trainings and special licensing for riders to curb whatever may have warranted the ban.
Pasuma noted that BRT and danfo buses are not enough to solve the transportation problems of the megacity, suggesting that a good railway system may come in handy at this point.
