EPL history escaped a colossal upset on Monday night when Liverpool escaped being beaten by relegation-fondling West Ham.
The
guys unbeaten run was endangered till the sleeping hours of the match played at Anfield of all places, after West Ham had replied their opening goal with double.
It was, indeed, going to be the story of a wise man who died in the backyard of a foolish man.
The Liverpool spirit, however, eventually prevailed, with two quick goals that cemented the unseating carnival for them.
While Georgina opened the goal for them, the face-savers came from Salah and Mane, with Isa Diop and Pablo Formals being scorers of West Ham.
