The Chief Executive Officer of Sound Prince Audio Nigeria, Evangelist Paulinus Ugochukwu, has been given the certificate of Life Patron by the Music Africa Awake Foundation.
Our correspondent, Segun Ige, reports that the event which took place at the Alaba International Market was an avenue to commend Ugochukwu’s expertise in Sound Production in the Nigerian Music Industry.
The CEO of the Music Africa Awake Foundation, Prince Emeka Ojukwu, while congratulating the CEO of Sound Prince Audio Nigeria on his conferment as the Life Patron of the Music Africa Awake Foundation, extolled the virtues of awardee and encouraged him to do more.
“He’s the king of sound in Africa. So, that’s why we are here also to make sure that we carry him along,” Ojukwu said.
He added that preparation for first Nigerian Reggae Festival had been underway and Nigerians, especially Anambra residents, should expect nothing but the best.
President of the Royal Black Family and Ambassador of Nigerian Reggae Festival in Germany, Ras. Engineer Chidi Chidi Umeh, expressed optimism on the success of the first Nigeria Reggae Festival.
“We are highly excited because he was more than we expected.
“Sound Prince, like we heard from him, is a brand name when it comes to sound, stage and light and every other thing that has to do with music in Nigeria, actually in Africa,” he said.
Sound Prince International Company Nigeria Limited has planned to establish musical branches in Nigeria that would better serve the whole of Africa.
According to the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Paulinus Ugochukwu, efforts have been made to reach an advanced stage to build a world-class musical instrument factory at Ibolo Oraifite in Anambra State.
Ugochukwu, who stated this at the commissioning of Sound Prince Plaza and launching of new products, held over the weekend, said that when completed, the factory would provide about 3,000 direct employments and over 10,000 indirect employments.
“I want our customers to know that things are no longer the same. Most of the traders now sell their own brand of products and nobody would fake his own product because it would be killing his own business.
“In Alaba International Market, we sell genuine products at affordable prices. Trial as they say would convince any doubting Thomas.
“We have a task force in place that goes about to check whoever is importing or is selling fake product and whoever is caught is severely punished. This has helped to clear our market of such products,” said Ojukwu, in an interview with ‘The Sun’.
