The Chairman of the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area in Lagos State, Abulfatai Oyesanya, has passed on.
He was said to have died on Tuesday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital after an undisclosed illness.
The politician popularly called Oyesco has been buried in his home town, Ijebu Ode.
According to a report in ‘The Punch’, the Deputy Chairman of the LCDA, Abolanle Onikosi, confirmed the incident to our correspondent on the telephone.
“Yes. It is true. He died at LASUTH. He was a good man, who did his best for the council while he was the chairman. He will be sorely missed,” Onikosi added.
