This is one of the questions agitating the minds of many people in the Mgbuoba in Obio/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State, where a grandmother allegedly bathed her two grandchildren with pepper.
She was said to have been angered when the children took her garrison without her permission.
The woman is simply identified as Mama Vera, while the children, whose name have yet to be given, are respectively eight and seven years old.
Mama Vera was also accused of stopping her grandchildren from going to school while she also tied them up after consuming the grains.
