Prophet speaks on LASU student murdered in his church

A self-professed cleric who conspired with a son and mum to kill an undergraduate of the Lagos State University, Ojo, for money ritual, has spoken about his plan for them.
The ‘cleric’, Prophet Segun Phillips, confessed to being part of the crime and the eating of the heart of the victim, Favour Daley-Oladele.
She was a final-year student of Theatre Arts at LASU.
According Phillips, he gave them the condition for the rite to produce money.
He said, “I told them that when they used the thing once, the thing would bring money.”
Also speaking on the matter, Favour’s boyfriend, Owolabi Adeeko, who lured her into the fatal trap, said he opted for the ritual because he and his family became broke.
He said his father lost his job, while his mother helping the family also had problems.
According to him he also did not get patronage for his business.
Owolabi’s mother, however, denied knowledge of using Favor for the ritual.
Although she participating in eating her heart, she said, his son and Phillip told her it was the meat of a sheep.
