Former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, proved that he is still very close to President Muhammadu Buhari when the latter celebrated his 77th birthday in the Aso Villa, Abuja.
He was one of the few top politicians conspicuously present as shown in the photos from the occasion.
Amosun’s disappoval of Mr Dapo Abiodun – now the governor – as the All Progressives Congress’ candidate in the last election strained the relationship between him and the party leaders, to the extent that some thought some stets he took were an affront to the President.
