Senator Dino Melaye is fast becoming an object of jest online as the reality of his imminent loss dawns on some folks in the Saturday’s rerun election between him and Smart Adeyemi.
Unofficial results indicated that Adeyemi was gaining upper hand.
This made Melaye’s adversaries, especially online, to be mockingly replaying and ‘remixing’ his popular song, ‘Ajekun Iya ni o Je’, with which he used to taunt his opponents.
While one person noted that losing would serve Melaye right, claiming that he too had helped to power, in 2015, those now walloping him a fellow noted that the song befitting him at the moment could be entitled ‘Homecoming’, suggesting that melee’s days might be over at the Senate as far as the current dispensation is concerned.
