Opinion moulder Ayo Ojeniyi, is tickling the hearts of many Facebook users as he posts what could be consider the economic agenda of winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, Chief MKO Abiola, who was denied the presidency and died in military detention.
Some believe he was poisoned.

MKO, just before he was killed, during the campaign luncheon, said:
* Look at my Group of Companies: the farms, the bakery, the bookshop, the communication company, The Concord Newspapers, we employed staff based on merit. Religion or ethnicity is not considered at all. We put round pegs in round holes. I don’t need to know them until they become my staff. This is the mentality I am taking to Abuja.
* We will demystify the NNPC by making it transparent. I will make sure that we publish daily crude sales. The NASS will be allowed to do their oversight functions especially on THE NNPC.
* We will pursue policies that will earn us more foreign exchange. I will subside farming. We will not import rice again. We will start exporting the Ofada and other local rice. It’s a matter of packaging.
* CBN will not be allowed to issue monitory policy without the inputs of the Bankers Committee. You cannot shave a man’s head in his absence.
* We will formulate our own economic policies using Nigerian economists, who know our culture. What do the IMF guys know about us? It is like bringing a Norwegian best doctor to come and treat malaria in Nigeria. The local doctor will do a better job. We will make use of expatriates but they are the ones to be recommended by our people in abroad not by some Oyinbos that do not even know where Nigeria is.
