Many fans of veteran actor, Ojo Arowosafe, aka Fadeyi Oloro, were pleasantly surprised to see him in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, when he joined other celebrities at the ongoing Ekiti Arts festival.
Such people did not know that he had survived an ailment he suffered some months back, thus seeing his appearance as a kind of resurrection.
Speaking at the festival declared open by Governor Kayode Fayemi, Fadeyi, who came to limelight during the era of popular TV dramas such as ‘Arelu’ and ‘Yanponyanrin’, said many had reported that he had died.
He thanked Fayemi and some other people for the support the government gave him during the difficult period.
Interestingly, the producer of the plays, Jimoh Aliu, who will soon clock 90, was also present at the event, alongside other stars that included Yomi Fish-Lanso.
