President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed joy at his sound health as he clocked 77 on Tuesday.
He said he could not but be very grateful to God for keeping him in a good shape at that age.
Asked what it is like to be 77, Buhari said at an occasion marking the birthday in the Aso Villa, Abuja, “Many people who are 77 are on crutches,” he said.
Buhari has cause to be grateful to God not just because he has been lucky to be Nigerian President twice, but also because he is a man who can be described as practically rising from the dead.
About two years ago, he was terribly sick, forcing him to seek a prolonged treatment abroad.
He however came back so dramatically that some people doubted whether or not he was cloned.
Some online critics are however still not convinced that he is not more than 77.
In the midst of jokes for and against his personality, Buhari has pledged renewed loyalty to the country, while also assuring the people of more progress.
