BREAKING: Babangida is not dead, says Afegbua

Kassim Afegbua, an aide of a former military ruler, Ibrahim Babangida, has declared as untrue reports that the man is dead.
According to him, Babangida is still alive and healthy.
“The General is alive. He is hale and hearty. I spoke with him about 30 minutes ago,” he told The Eagle Online.
There has been anxiety over the health of the man popularly called IBB, with some spreading online that he passed away Sunday morning.
He had also been a victim of such fake news in the past.
IBB had, however, not been very active in the past few years due to health issues.
