A 37-year-old man, Abdulganiyu Awoyemi, is now facing the law court in Osogbo, Sun State, a day he stole a property belonging to another judge.
Awoyemi allegedly stole a construction tool called angle, worth N2.5m, belonging to a judge with the Osun State Judiciary, Justice A. B. Abdulkareem.
According to ‘The Punch’, the suspect, who was arraigned before an Osogbo Chief Magistrates’ Court, was said to have sold the items for N56,000.
The police said he sold the items to one Mutiu Oyeyemi, 35, for N56,000.
The incident happened on October 30 and both suspects were arraigned on October 31, and have been remanded in the Ilesa Correctional Centre.
