BREAKING: INEC declares Melaye, Adeyemi election inconclusive

The Independent Electoral Commission has declared inconclusive the senatorial election rerun between Senator Dino Melaye and Smart Adeyemi in Kogi Central, Kogi State.
INEC said this was due to the fact that the margin between the candidates’ votes was less than the number of the cancelled votes.
While Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress got 80,118 votes, Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party got 59, 548.
