The All Progessives Congress (APC) lawmaker representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency of Kano State in the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa, has been sacked by a Court of Appeal which sat in Kaduna.
This followed the nullification of the election in two local governments the lawmaker represents.
The Appeal Court ordered a reelection to hold within 90 days.
According to ‘Daily Nigerian’, Justice Oludotun Adefope-Okojie, who presided on the case filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Yusha’u Salisu, wondered why the national assembly election tribunal dismissed the petition against Mr Doguwa on grounds of failure to prove allegations of irregularities and over-voting in the election.
