Three years after former President Goodluck Jonathan last visited the seat of power in Abuja, he is currently there with President Muhammadu Buhari.
They are having a closed-door meeting, with the agenda not yet divulged.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the former president arrived the State House at about 3.00p.m, and went straight to the President’s office.
The agenda of the meeting between President Buhari and Jonathan was unknown to newsmen as at the time of filing this report.
NAN observed that the former president, who is visiting the Presidential Villa for the fifth time since the swearing-in of the Buhari administration, was last seen in the State House in 2016.
The relationship between the two has not been very cordial.
Apart from party differences, the Buhari government has been probing Jonathan’s aides and some family members, including his wife, Patience, from whom the government has seized some valuable assets.
