Igbenekhu to be investigated, says Wale Babalakin
The Pro-chancellor of the University of Lagos, Dr Wale Babalakin, has reacted to the sexual harassment allegation against a lecturer in the institution, Dr Bonyface Igbenekhu.
A BBC report indicted him, as seen in a film in which he was allegedly harassing a 17-year-old admission seeker feigned by a BBC reporter.
Although Igbenekhu has been suspended by UNILAG management and his church, Four Square, Babalakin, in an interview with Channels Television on Monday, said the man would be investigated and necessary action would be taken afterwards.
He said the university was intolerant of immorality, saying students should not be made to suffer for anyone’s immorality.
“Your mark should commiserate with your performance,” Babalakin said.
