A 12 year old girl, Ilobekeme Omije, has continued to be at the centre of a tough drama as she has given birth to a baby following a series of rape experiences.
The assault that produced the child is linked to a rape by a 40-year-old neighbour in Edo State.
According to a Linda Ikeji report, the little girl is currently at the Irrua Specialist Hospital where she gave birth to her baby girl through CS yesterday Friday, October 11th.
“In a chat with LIB, activist Harrison Gwamnishu said the little girl lost her dad years ago and was sent to live with a Pastor of a renowned church by her mother who died recently and is still in the mortuary. At age 6, she was raped by the pastor and was later sent to live with a traditional healer who continued to rape her.
“She currently lives with her aunt where a 40-year-old neighbour raped her and got her pregnant. She welcomed her baby and is still in the hospital where doctors are monitoring her condition,” the platform adds.
