More academics have continued to bear the brunt of banditry in Nigeria as another lecturer has been shot dead.
The lecturer with Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Engr. Dr S.O Ohikhena, was shot dead while is brother was said t have been kidnapped.
Reports say he was shot dead by the gunmen along Okene-Abuja road on Thursday October 3. The gunmen also kidnapped his brother identified as Austin.
Several lecturers have been kidnapped in recent times, with some of the killed by the abductors.
