Otedola Bridge again! One dead in another multiple accident

About a week after a tanker accident caused gridlock on the Otedola Bridge in Alausa area of Lagos, another crash has occurred there.
At least a life was said to have been lost in the crash.
Described as a multiple accident, it involves trailers and other smaller vehicles.
The implication again is gridlock that, many regret, is compounding the one motorists have been experiencing in some parts of Lagos, especially at nearby Berger where Julius Berger is working almost at a snail’s speed.
Not a few people have expressed fear about the notoriety of the Otedola Bridge.
It has recorded so many crashes that, some think, it demands some traditional sacrifice, as they believe there may be a kind of spell there that is often asking for confusion or outright blood.
Yet, those who are practical and abhor superstition say two things invoke accidents on the bridge: a dangerous structural build and sheer carelessness on the part of many drivers.
The point at which the bridge terminates is not only narrow, but it is also curvy.
As a result, heavy automobiles are prone to falling there.
