A senior lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Business School, Emanuel Acheampong, has accused a Nigerian student of offering her sex for grade.
But he said he refused and ‘failed’ her woefully in the exam.
He did not, however, name the lady/
Anxiety has been greeting a film released by BBC, implicating some lecturers said to be involved in having sex with female students in order to pass them.
University of Lagos and the University of Ghana have some of their lecturers indicted in the documentary..
Acheampong who spoke on Ahotor FM, said, “She was a Nigerian student who wanted to pass without studying.
According to him, she included her naked picture and telephone number in her answer booklet after writing his paper.
He further claimed: “When I opened the paper, it was an empty sheet with her naked picture and telephone number under it. I called her and with my background as a Christian, I counselled her,” he revealed
“I failed her woefully, Dr. Acheampong said. Acheampong also said he usually gives out questions before the examination to avoid anything of the sort. This practice discourages students from coming to you.”
