The Lagos State Police Command has berated popular singer, Davido and his aides for parading in handcuffs the two ladies who ‘played prank’ on him by saying he impregnated one of them.
The ladies, who said they were sisters, initially claimed in a viral video that Davido had sex with one of them at a programme in Eko Hotels, Lagos, after which she became pregnant.
They later confessed in another video that they were only playing pranks on the singer.
Davido had however vowed to deal with them legally.
In line with the threat, one of Davido’s aides Special Spesh, posted a video online showing the two ladies, Helen and Susan, in handcuffs after they were picked up possibly by the police.
Although the Police PRO in Lagos State, Bala Elkana, said he did not have information on the arrest, he was quoted as saying it was wrong for a private citizen to parade another person.
he said the ladies could sue Davido as no court has convicted them.
