Controversial politician, Dino Melaye, has vowed to score a hat-trick against his opponent in the senatorial battle in Kogi State, Smart Adeyemi.
The Appeal Court on Friday upheld the tribunal’s judgement that nullified his election.
It thus ordered re-election in disputed areas.
Reacting to this, Melaye described the judgement as a travesty of justice.
He, however, said he was unperturbed, saying he was sure he would defeat Adeyemi.
He said he had defeated him twice and he was bound to do so again.
“Smart Adeyemi is my political wife. I will score a hat-trick against him,” Melaye said.
Also speaking to ‘Channels Television’, Adeyemi hailed the judgement, saying the rejected results were not tenable in any court.
According to him, Melaye’s election had always been fraudulent.
He said, “Dino has never won any election.”
