After a protracted battle with powers that be in the All Progressives Congress Party in Kogi State, the Deputy Governor, Simon Achuba, has been impeached.
He was particularly in battle with Governor Yaya Bellom who is re contesting.
Simon was impeached by members of the state Assembly today October 18th.
Achuba had cried out he was being denied his salary running into about N800m while later accusing Bello of being after his life.
Before the impeachment process began, Achuba was in August, suspended from the All Progressives Congress (APC) for alleged anti-party activities before, during and after the 2019 general elections.
