Controversial politician, Femi FaniKayode, has given to the Vice President, Prof. Remi Osinbajo, what many can see as a ‘quit notice’.
Although the Presidency has said that there is no rift in Aso Rock, Fanikayode said he had information that Osinbajo would be removed.
He said in a tweet:
”Despite all his begging and lobbying I have it on good authority that
@ProfOsinbajo is still on his way out. 3 names have been shortlisted as possible replacements. Yemi is as good as gone. He should just pray for a peaceful and scandal-free exit. That is the best he will get.”
There have been insinuations about a plot to remove Osinbajo by some who are doing hard calculations about 2013.
Some also came up with allegations bordering on financial issues, but Osinbajo has challenged anyone who has warned cliques and every other person against smear campaign against him.
He also threatened to sue some he has identified to be involved – including Timi Frank.
