There is good news for members of the National Youths Service Corps as the Federal Government has confirmed that they too will enjoy the just approved minimum wage.
Despite the harshness of the economy, the youth corners are paid some N19,000 each.
Last year, the FG gave the indication that it would increase their allowances to N30,000 each.
Although they celebrated the news, it has yet to materialize.
But the Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare, on Wednesday declared that the ‘corpers’ will enjoy the minimum wage.
In a tweet, Dare said the details would be provided in a matter of days.

He tweeted, “Next week the DG NYSC will provide details of the new ‘allowee’ for the Youth Corp members after full briefing from the Ministries of Finance And MYSD.”
