There is respite for many Kano residents as a lion that escaped from the town’s zoo on Saturday has been found.
While no human fell victiom of the accident, the animal some innocent goats paid for it
The head of the zoological garden, Sai’du Gwarzo, who confirmed this to BBC Hausa, said the lion was found inside the cage belonging to goats, after killing .and eating the goats.
Gwarzo said, “The rangers had succeeded in locking up the cage before the lion was shot with an injection which made him less harmful before it was captured and returned to its cage.”
