A self-professed prophet in Lagos is now in trouble after he was allegedly caught masturbating while rubbing anointing oil on the buttocks of a woman he was delivering from an impending fibroid.
The man, David Daniel, who has now been arrested by the police, conducted the ‘cleansing’ in the Ejigbo area of Lagos.
According to a statement from the command’s spokesperson, Bala Elkana, the prophet had accosted the victim, Joy Muriyaro, at her shop and claimed that he saw in a vision that she was having a spiritual problem and would have fibroid growth in her womb in the future.
Elkana added that the suspect subsequently collected N3,500 cash and a bottle of perfume worth N1000 from her for spiritual cleansing. The woman told the police that the suspect followed her to her house and ordered her to remove her clothes for him to rob anointing oil on her buttocks.
He said, “She became apprehensive when she noticed that the suspect was masturbating when robbing the anointing oil on her buttocks. The suspect was arrested and charged to court for indecent assault and remanded in Kirikiri Prison.”
