Broadcast satellite services, DStv and GOtv, have condemned the recent xenophobic attacks and violence against Nigerians and other nationalities in South Africa.
Following the cancellation of Tiwa Savage’s musical performance at the DStv delicious Festival as a result of the xenophobic attack in the country, the company said they are in support with her decision.
According to MultiChoice a South African company that operates both the DStv and Gotv, they advocate equality and condemn all form of discrimination.
DStv said: ” We stand with Ms Tiwa Savage in condemning the violence against fellow Nigerians in South Africa.
As a company, we advocate equality and embrace inclusivity and diversity.”
Gotv said: ” We condemn violence against Nigerians in South Africa.”
